Fun with Animals is a unit that deals with an issue that is meaningful and relevant to a pupil in the fourth grade, animals. Animals and children have always had a deep bond and have a wonderful effect on each other. All pupils can relate positively to animals, have pets, go to the zoo and feel emotions to these wonderful creatures around us. In this unit, the pupil relates to the personal domain of the issue which concerns his/ her immediate context.
Adopting Pets
Topics: EnglishThis unit is about adopting a pet. First, the pupils learn about animals as pets. Then the pupils think about buying a pet or adopting a pet. The pupils then learn about pets which take care of people. In the final lessons the pupils choose an animal that they would like to adopt.
